So, for our anniversary last week, along with my new skates, Britt framed my Thornton sweater that I had signed on my 25 birthday. Talk about a perfect gift, and my new pride and joy. Man does it look great on my wall!

I don’t care who you are. I don’t care if you’re a fan of the sport or not. I don’t care if you hate the Sharks.

NOBODY can argue the fact that this is some of the best penalty killing the game has ever seen. Remember… Only Mclaren has a stick at the end!

This man, was the backbone of the San Jose Sharks organization for ten years. Just about a year ago, he was let go from the team, because his contract was too high. He’s been gone for a year now, but will never be replaced.
I’m looking forward to seeing Evgeni Nabokov in the league this season. A goaltender as talented as he is deserves to play. He deserves to play for a team that can really use his talents to get them somewhere (Sorry Islanders, but a goalie like Nabby won’t save you).
Nabby deserves to play. He deserves another chance at The Cup. It’s the only thing he’s missing really (seeing as the Vezina was robbed from him in 2008).
Calder Memorial Trophy - 2001
NHL All-Rookie Team - 2001
NHL First All-Star Team - 2008
NHL All-Star Game Appearances - 2001 and 2008
Best Goalkeeper - 2008 IIHF World Championship
Vezina Trophy Finalist - 2008
Set an NHL record on Feb. 11, 2010 at DET when he won his 11 consecutive road game (Nov. 21, 2009 vs. ANA - Feb. 11 2010 vs. DET)
First Goalkeeper in NHL history to score a powerplay goal
Became only the second goalie to record 3 consecutive 40 win seasons on Mar. 27, 2010 vs. VAN
Sharks fans miss you Nabby!

Sharks injured? Wow…

Seeing the injury list for the Sharks that came out a bit ago, it’s crazy that they played has hard as they did.

Jumbo- Separated shoulder, tip of pinky detached from finger
Heater- Broken hand for late regular season/playoffs, bad twisted ankle in gm 3
Cooch- Broken nose from gm 3
Demers- High ankle sprain in gm7 vs DET
Clowe- Needed help putting his own sweater on (assuming something with collarbone)

EDIT FROM OFFICIAL RELEASE

Jason Demers - high ankle sprain
Scott Nichol - laceration above the knee
Dany Heatley - broken hand, high ankle injury
Ryane Clowe - shoulder separation
Dan Boyle - damaged MCL
Logan Couture - broken nose
Joe Pavelski - ankle injury
Joe Thornton - broken pinkie, wrist problem, shoulder separation

And that’s just the few the Brodie Brazil reported. The fight these guys gave, with those injuries… That’s damn impressive. Hats off fellas. We’re proud of you, Sharks.

And people actually argue that these aren’t the toughest athletes out there. Lebron James whined about playing with a cold. Man up athletes, do this right.

Two years in a row, the San Jose Sharks have eliminated the Detroit Red Wings in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.

The statement made last night, was bigger than anyone has realized.

Congratulations San Jose. Here’s to an amazing series against Vancouver, and here’s to a team that has proven they are the Stanley Cup contender from the West.

Next stop, the Western Conference Finals. Let’s do this boys!

Go Sharks!
